This movie is about two young lovers, Raj (Hrithik Roshan) and Tara (Preity Zinta), who are deeply in love with their own lives. The story begins when Raj, a budding architect meets his childhood friend Tara while returning to Mumbai after doing his schooling in London. Soon after, they fall in love and get married, while completing their education. The course of true love never runs smooth, however, and the pair soon begin to find themselves struggling to keep up with the demands of both their careers and their marriage. When they decide to set up an apartment of their own, it begins to show its strains, and the pair is forced to come to terms with the fact that they are not quite so in love as they thought. The film's soundtrack contains 9 songs, all composed by Anu Malik. The lyrics by Javed Akhtar.
